Selma Blair Taken Into Custody at JFK After Allegedly Punching, Biting Delta Flight Attendants

Actress Selma Blair, 54, was taken into custody at New York's JFK Airport on Sunday night after an alleged in-flight confrontation with crew members aboard Delta Flight 938 from Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter and other outlets.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said police responded around 11 p.m. to a report of a physically abusive passenger; the suspect, identified as Blair, was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for evaluation. Two flight attendants reported injuries, with one taken to a hospital, and the FBI is investigating. TMZ reported allegations that Blair punched one attendant, bit another and tried to open the cabin door; those details remain allegations that officials have not confirmed.
Delta said it has "zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior" and that the flight arrived ahead of schedule with no operational impact. Blair's representative said the actress "experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct" and that she is in stable condition. Blair disclosed in 2018 that she is living with multiple sclerosis. The incident remains under investigation.
