Sunday, November 1, 2026 · City · GSM News

TSMC's $265 billion Arizona campus is drawing a wave of Taiwanese investment into Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. More than $500 million in Taiwanese capital has flowed into Phoenix-area real estate since 2021, matching Canadian capital inflows, according to real estate analysis.

TSMC's 2,000-acre campus in north Phoenix now has one fabrication plant in operation, with two more scheduled by the end of the decade. Taiwanese developer Taicoon Property Partners paid $88 million for two plots near the campus and plans a $1 billion mixed-use project anchored by Taiwanese retail brands. Starlux Airlines and China Airlines operate nonstop flights between Taipei and Phoenix, and Taiwan opened a trade office in the state capital in 2024.

The North Gateway and Desert View submarkets near the campus recorded 53% home value appreciation over six years, outpacing Phoenix's 42% citywide gain. TSMC employs 3,500 workers at its Arizona facilities and plans to add 2,500 more.
