Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida — Port Tampa Bay announced on November 3 that Sarah Brammell has been named director of environmental affairs, bringing more than 25 years of experience in environmental management, regulatory compliance, ecological assessments and transportation-sector leadership.

Brammell joins from environmental consulting firm Verdantas, where she was a senior ecologist and client development lead overseeing ecological field studies, permitting, wetland mitigation, wildlife management and restoration. She previously served as director of operations and emergency management at Tampa International Airport and as senior manager of planning and environmental compliance at the Lee County Port Authority, covering Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field.
