Jewel Nightclub at Aria in Las Vegas to Close Permanently on November 21

Tuesday, November 3, 2026 · Cities · GSM News

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — The Las Vegas Strip is seeing another change to its nightlife map: Jewel Nightclub, inside the Aria Resort and Casino, will close permanently on November 21, ending a ten-year run.

Operators MGM Resorts International and Tao Group jointly announced the decision on November 2, saying they had mutually agreed to close the 24,000-square-foot nightclub. Jewel opened on May 19, 2016, during a boom in Las Vegas nightlife demand, and hosted numerous celebrity performances as one of the Strip's signature venues. Its final night is set for November 21, during the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend, with local DJ Kid Conrad performing.

MGM said there are no immediate replacement plans for the space, and directed guests seeking Las Vegas nightlife to Marquee at The Cosmopolitan, another MGM property. MGM did not give a specific reason for the closure, though reporting has noted the club had cut back to two operating nights a week, a sign of business pressure. Aria itself remains open as usual; the closure applies only to the Jewel Nightclub space.
