The North Dakota Secretary of State's office announced at 4:10 p.m. on November 3 that, as of 4 p.m. that day, 195,000 voters statewide had cast ballots in the 2026 general election, a turnout of 32%. It was the office's third turnout update of the day, following 128,000 voters and 21% at 10 a.m. and 162,000 and 27% at 1 p.m., with voting numbers climbing steadily through Election Day.

North Dakota voters on November 3 decided races for the U.S. House, state legislative seats and statewide ballot measures. The Secretary of State's office on September 18 mailed a ballot-measure guide to 450,000 active voter households and posted it at polling places. Voting took place across the state on Election Day, and the office updated vote totals through its website so voters and the media could follow progress. The 32% figure is as of 4 p.m.; the final turnout will rise after voting ends in the evening. Compared with the 2022 midterms, this year's election organization in North Dakota continued the practice of mailing guides in advance and posting information at polling places to help voters check ballot content. The office said it will continue releasing results after polls close, and final results must be officially certified.
