Asian-Language Election Hotline Stands By for Dallas Voters on Election Day

Tuesday, November 3, 2026 · Cities · GSM News

On Election Day, November 3, Asian voters in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, can call the election protection hotline at 888-API-VOTE for help in Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, Bengali, Hindi, Urdu and Tagalog.

Voting resources published by Asian Texans for Justice note that early voting for the November 2026 general election ran October 19-30, and Election Day voting runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 3. Dallas County voters may vote at any vote center in the county and must show an approved photo ID.

The group reminds voters that they have the right to request interpreter assistance at the polls or bring their own interpreter who has agreed to help, and that registration status can be checked at VoteTexas.gov. Community groups urge Chinese voters who run into problems to call the hotline rather than give up their vote.
