One APIA Nevada Issues Election Guide as Voter ID Amendment Faces Second Required Vote

On Election Day, November 3, Asian voters in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, face a consequential ballot. A voting guide from One APIA Nevada notes that Nevada early voting ran October 17-30 and Election Day voting runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 3.
In this midterm year Nevada has no presidential or U.S. Senate race, but voters will choose U.S. House members, governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, treasurer, controller, state legislators, and the mayors of Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas. The ballot also carries two constitutional amendments facing their second and final required vote: an abortion-rights amendment (passed with 64.4% in 2024) and a voter ID amendment, which passed with 73.2% in 2024.
Nevada allows same-day registration at designated voting locations with a valid Nevada DMV-issued ID. Voters registered by the deadline receive a mail ballot, which must be postmarked by Election Day or dropped off by 7 p.m. Asian-language help is available at 888-API-VOTE, and Clark County voters may vote at any vote center in the county.
