Greene County, Missouri Expects Turnout Near 59% as Voters Decide the Redistricting Question in Proposition A

Tuesday, November 3, 2026 · States · GSM News

Missouri polls were open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 3, with voters in line at 7 p.m. still able to vote, deciding U.S. House and legislative races and several statewide measures. Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller projected turnout of 58% to 59%, saying the competitive state Senate District 30 race and several closely watched measures were driving participation even though there was only one statewide contest, and he expected the first results shortly after 8:30 p.m. Missouri law requires voters to show valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, passport or military ID. Voters could check registration and polling places on the Secretary of State's website or use the searchable map on the Greene County Clerk's site. Key ballot items included Amendment 3, Amendment 6, Amendment 8 and Proposition A; Proposition A asked voters whether to keep the congressional map drawn by the legislature in 2025 or restore the 2022 map, a choice that will shape elections in 2028 and beyond.
