Tuesday, November 3, 2026 · States · GSM News

Wyoming's general election was held on November 3, and Campbell County Clerk Michelle Pender announced that polls would be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The ballot included U.S. senator, U.S. representative, governor, secretary of state, auditor, treasurer, superintendent of public instruction and county offices. In the Senate race, Republican John Barrasso faced Democrat Scott Casner; in the House race, Republican Harriet Hageman faced Democrat Kyle Byrd. The governor's race was open because Gov. Mark Gordon had reached his term limit, with Republicans including Secretary of State Chuck Gray and Superintendent Megan Degenfelder among those who had pledged to run, and Sen. Cynthia Lummis set to retire at the end of her term. Sample ballots were published from October 20 to November 2 in the Campbell County Record and the News Record of Gillette. Absentee ballots had to reach the county clerk's office by 7 p.m. on November 3, and no absentee voting was available on Election Day itself. Voters could obtain more information from the county elections office.
