Chicago Bears Announce Three Roster Moves on November 4; Defensive Tackle Street Placed on Injured Reserve

Wednesday, November 4, 2026 · City · GSM News

The Chicago Bears announced three roster moves on the afternoon of November 4 as they prepare for their Week 9 Sunday night game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Defensive tackle Kentavius Street, who hurt his knee in the fourth quarter of Monday night's 34-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks, was placed on injured reserve; tight end Stephen Carlson was signed to the active roster from the practice squad, and defensive lineman Earnest Brown IV joined the practice squad, filling Carlson's spot. Head coach Ben Johnson said Street is likely done for the season.

The Bears are 6-2 and rising at midseason. Earlier this week the team also confirmed that left tackle Braxton Jones will miss the rest of the season after knee surgery; Jones was already on injured reserve. The run of moves tests the Bears' line depth as they try to reach 7-2 at home against Tampa Bay before their bye week.
