London Train Rape Trial Opens: Two Men Accused of Following Runaway Girl, 14, onto Train; Both Deny All Charges

Wednesday, November 4, 2026 · World · GSM News

A rape trial opened this week at Inner London Crown Court in a case arising from an alleged attack on a teenage girl aboard a train in February. According to British media court reporting on November 4, prosecutors allege that on February 5 this year a 14-year-old autistic girl who had run away from home — and had been reported missing that day — boarded a Southeastern train at Sturry in Kent bound for London Bridge, where she was attacked by two men.

Prosecutors say Baryalai Rahimi, 25, of Southall, raped the girl in a toilet cubicle on the train, and they cited DNA evidence to the jury. Mirebadurahman Sadat, 29, of Cricklewood, is alleged to have sexually assaulted her afterwards. The girl was found at Peterborough station at around 11 p.m. that night. She was reported to have told the court that other passengers were staring at their phones and no one came to help.

The two defendants face 20 charges between them and deny all of them. The trial is continuing and is expected to last about three weeks. The details above are the prosecution's allegations as presented in court and have not been proven.
