WTA Finals Begin November 8 in Indian Wells: Rybakina Headlines Field, Groups Set
The 2026 WTA Finals will be held November 8-15 in Indian Wells, California, with the singles groups now set. The season-ending championship carries $15.25 million in prize money, and defending champion Elena Rybakina headlines the eight-player field.
The singles groups are: Group 1 — Rybakina, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Linda Noskova; Group 2 — Aryna Sabalenka, Mirra Andreeva, Elina Svitolina and Karolína Muchová.
Storylines abound: Sabalenka qualifies for a sixth consecutive year, Gauff and Pegula for a fifth time; Andreeva, Muchová and Noskova are debutantes; and Svitolina returns for the first time since 2019. Rybakina will try to defend the title she won last year.
The eight-team doubles field is also set, with the top two teams from each round-robin group advancing to the semifinals.
