Bryan Adams' 17th Album How's It Goin' Arrives November 6: Twelve Songs for Canada

Follow-up: Canadian rock icon Bryan Adams releases his 17th studio album, How's It Goin', on November 6 through his own BAD Records. GSM reported on October 30 on the debate stirred by the advance single "Lake Ontario"; this week the full album arrives, one day after Adams's 67th birthday on November 5.
The album grew out of music Adams wrote for the documentary Canada's Wild Eastern Edge and expanded into what he calls a love letter to his home country. The 12-track physical edition includes "The Ballad of Terry Fox," honoring the national hero, the War of 1812 story "The Battle of Lundy's Lane," "Diesel and Dirt," "Iron Ribbon" and the title track; the digital edition adds "Lake Ontario" as a 13th, bonus song.
Another track, "51st State," was released on Canada Day, July 1, and has earned nightly standing ovations on Adams's world tour. Named BBC Radio 2's Album of the Week, the release comes on CD, vinyl including a red-and-white splatter LP, and an A4 hardback book edition with the CD, lyrics and photographs.
Adams, who has sold more than 100 million records across nearly five decades, has also spoken this week about family life with his two teenage daughters and the family's Christmas traditions, calling the record one of his most personal statements.
