Brunson Scores 22 in First Quarter Alone: Knicks Crush Bulls 135-105

Thursday, November 5, 2026 · Sports · GSM News

Jalen Brunson scored 22 points in the first quarter alone, shooting 80 percent and nearly outscoring the Chicago Bulls by himself, as the New York Knicks demolished Chicago 135-105 on Wednesday night.

New York led 43-21 after one quarter and 84-52 at halftime, shooting 50 percent from the field and 43 percent from three-point range. The Knicks improved to 4-4 with the wire-to-wire win.

Chicago's slide continued: Josh Giddey managed just 10 points, six rebounds and one assist as the Bulls lost their fifth straight to fall to 1-7, outscored by an average of 19.2 points during the skid.

The Knicks will try to build on the rout, while the Bulls desperately need answers on defense to stop the bleeding.
