Missouri's Resound Late Night Draws 100-Plus Pastors: The Resound Network Lays Out Three Paths Toward Healthier Churches

More than 100 pastors gathered in St. Charles, Missouri, on the evening of October 26 for Resound Late Night, held alongside the Missouri Baptist Convention's annual meeting, the convention's news journal The Pathway reported on November 4.
The evening was hosted by the Resound Network, a network supported by the Missouri Baptist Convention that focuses on helping struggling churches return to health and relaunch.
Three paths toward healthier churches were presented: helping other churches, with stronger churches coming alongside weaker ones; church planting; and missions, at home and abroad. Organizers said the three paths are not mutually exclusive and churches can combine them according to their situation.
Pastors at the gathering compared notes on their churches' circumstances and practices. The convention said such gatherings are meant to connect pastors, especially those serving small churches on their own, with resources and peer support.
