Orchid Giving Circle awards $219,500 to 14 North Texas Asian nonprofits
The Orchid Giving Circle at Texas Women's Foundation has awarded $219,500 in grants to 14 nonprofits serving North Texas Asian communities, announced at a celebration of grantees held at Toyota's North American headquarters campus in Plano. The awards mark the giving circle's fifth year.
Founded in 2015, the Orchid Giving Circle is made up of Asian women philanthropists supporting Asian community causes. Grantees this year include the Dallas Chinese Community Center, whose 'Inspire Asians to Move Up' economic program received funding.
