Elf in Concert: San Francisco Symphony Performs Live to Picture December 18 to 20
The San Francisco Symphony presents Elf in Concert at Davies Symphony Hall, 201 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco, San Francisco County, California, with three performances: Friday, December 18, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, December 19 and 20, at 2:00 p.m. Composer John Debney conducts the orchestra performing his score live to picture.
Directed by Jon Favreau, Elf has become a perennial holiday-season family favorite. The live-to-picture format lets audiences watch the full film on the big screen while the orchestra plays the score in sync, and the program sits in the Symphony's holiday film series alongside its traditional December concerts.
Tickets are available at sfsymphony.org or through the Symphony Box Office at 415-864-6000; see the event page for current pricing.
