Pilobolus Brings TRIPS to Dallas Through November 7 as AT&T Performing Arts Center Fills the Weekend

Friday, November 6, 2026 · Performance · GSM News

The AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, is reminding audiences that the Pilobolus dance company performs TRIPS at Moody Performance Hall on November 6 and 7, with November 7 the final Dallas performance.

The center describes TRIPS as a gravity-defying experience: athletic, endlessly inventive and full of humor and physical poetry, with each dance work flowing into the next. Pilobolus, founded more than five decades ago, is internationally acclaimed for its signature style of dancers building human sculptures by leveraging one another's bodies.

The same weekend brings two free community events: Brass & Jazz in the Park on November 7 at Mattie Nash-Myrtle Davis Park, featuring live jazz, jazz dance, New Orleans brass, Louisiana cuisine and family art activities, free with RSVP; and the 2026 North Texas Kindness Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 7 at Annette Strauss Square, also free with RSVP. Resident company Dallas Black Dance Theatre's GENESIS Director's Choice series also runs November 6 and 7.

Upcoming shows at the center's venues include The Carpenters Songbook on November 12 at the Majestic Theatre, Switchfoot on November 15, Lyle Lovett and his Small Large Band on November 18 at the Winspear Opera House, THE GIFTS OF CHRISTMAS on December 11 and Lil' Kim Hard Core Symphony on December 12. The AT&T Performing Arts Center is at 2403 Flora Street in Dallas.
