Rush Announce Five-Night 'Elevate From the Norm' Residency at Las Vegas Sphere for May 2027
Canadian rock band Rush will play a five-night residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, in May 2027, with shows on May 21, 23, 26, 28 and 30. Live Nation announced the residency, titled 'Elevate From the Norm,' on November 5.
Singer and bassist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson will be joined by German drummer, composer and producer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold, the same lineup as the band's ongoing Fifty Something tour. The five shows will draw on fan favorites and greatest hits from across the band's catalogue, in celebration of Rush's music, legacy and the life of the late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
Announcing the residency, Geddy Lee said that when he first heard of Sphere he thought it was a shame Rush was no longer touring, because the venue sounded tailor-made for the band. With the band back on stage, the residency now makes that idea real.
Tickets go on general sale November 13 at 10 a.m. PT. An artist presale begins November 11 at 10 a.m. PT, and VIP and travel packages go on sale first, on November 6. Prices and sales channels are as announced by the promoter. (Source: Live Nation)
