Walmart Sets Its Black Friday Calendar: Three Deal Waves From November 12 to December 2

Black Friday falls on November 27 this year. Walmart has published its full holiday deal calendar: three waves of promotions running from November 12 to December 2, with the first “Early Black Friday” wave now counting down.
Under Walmart’s announced schedule, the early event runs November 12–15, opening online at 12:01 a.m. ET on November 12 and in stores at 6 a.m. local time that day. The main Black Friday Deals event runs November 23–29, starting online on November 23 at 12:01 a.m. ET, with stores opening at 6 a.m. on November 27. Cyber Monday deals follow from November 30 to December 2. Select online deals give Walmart+ members early access.
Walmart has also said its stores will again be closed on Thanksgiving Day (November 26) and Christmas Day so employees can be with their families; online deals are unaffected.
Black Friday is the traditional peak of the U.S. holiday shopping season. This year, major retailers’ promotions generally start in early November, stretching the season across the whole month — giving shoppers more time to compare prices, and pulling retailers’ price competition earlier with it.
