Community Voting Open for Austin Asian Chamber's Hospitality & Culture Award; Mahjong Club and Chinese Newspaper Among Nominees
Community voting is under way for the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce's 2026 business award for Hospitality & Culture, with winners to be announced at the chamber's annual Ovation gala on Dec. 5. Established in 2025, the award honors Asian businesses and individuals who enrich Austin's cultural fabric beyond their services, and is decided by community vote. This year's nominees include the Mahjong Mafia, a Chinese mahjong club in Austin and Central Texas, and the Texas Capital News, a Chinese-language publication in Austin. The chamber says voting is now open and invites community members to vote for their preferred nominees.
