Actress Jen Lilley's Toy Drive Returns: Goal of 20,000 Presents After Two-Year Hiatus

Saturday, November 7, 2026 · Nonprofits · GSM News

Actress Jen Lilley's holiday toy drive, "Christmas Is Not Cancelled," is back after a two-year hiatus, with a 2026 goal of distributing 20,000 presents to kids in need. The campaign kicked off on November 1 and runs through December 17. For the first time, it is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit program, making donations tax-deductible. The campaign works with Toys for Tots.

Lilley, 42, a Hallmark star, has five children with her husband Jason Wayne, a few of whom were adopted via foster care. She told *People* magazine the drive is personal to her. The campaign originally set a goal of giving 10,000 presents to children in need; after the break, she said, "our goal is 20,000 presents."

Every donation earns the donor entries to win prizes, including a grand prize Lilley calls "The Ultimate Christmas." The Week 1 prize, for entries from November 1 to 7, is a movie night package celebrating the 80th anniversary of *It's a Wonderful Life* and the nationwide release of *Jimmy*, the Jimmy Stewart biopic that opened in theaters on November 6, in which Lilley stars as Gloria Stewart.

Holiday toy drives are also under way across the country. In Arizona, the nonprofit NourishPHX is collecting toys for more than 600 children ages 1 to 14, with donations accepted through December 4. Arizonans for Children is collecting holiday gifts for more than 600 children in foster care across the Valley, especially seeking toys for boys and girls ages 5 to 14 and personal care and beauty products for teenage girls ages 15 to 18. In Michigan, Leelanau Christian Neighbors has kicked off the 2026 Northwest Michigan Toys for Tots drive, running November 9 through December 16.
