Paramount Pictures released the second official trailer for The Angry Birds Movie 3 on November 4, with the film set to open in North American theaters on December 23. It is the franchise's first entry in seven years, following 2019's second film; the first two installments grossed more than $500 million combined worldwide. In the new footage, Red and Silver are raising three children when a fresh threat from the pigs arrives.
Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Rachel Bloom and Danny McBride return, joined by Emma Myers, Walker Scobell, Keke Palmer and Lily James, among others; the three children are voiced by Myers, Scobell and Psalm West. The trailer also hides a cameo by Sonic the Hedgehog and features Sun Showers, a new song by JISOO.
John Rice directs from a screenplay by Thurop Van Orman, and distribution has moved from Sony on the first two films to Paramount.
