Oregon Rallies From 14 Points Down, Scores 38 Straight to Stun No. 11 Ohio State 41-28 in Columbus

The University of Oregon rallied from a 14-0 deficit to beat No. 11 Ohio State 41-28 on Saturday, November 7, at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, scoring 38 straight points in front of 103,551 fans.
Oregon running back Dierre Hill Jr. rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries, and quarterback Dylan Raiola completed 25 of 40 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns. Hill's nine-yard touchdown run with 1:25 left in the second quarter cut the deficit, Devin Jackson then intercepted Ohio State quarterback Luke Fahey, and Jamari Johnson scored on a two-yard direct-snap run on the final play of the half to put Oregon ahead 17-14. Hill added a 48-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter.
The turning point came on a second-quarter fake punt: on fourth-and-9, linebacker Teitum Tuioti passed to fellow linebacker Matayo Uiagalelei for a 30-yard gain. Head coach Dan Lanning said the play settled his team into a rhythm.
Ohio State's Fahey completed 36 of 50 passes for 360 yards and two touchdowns, and receiver Jeremiah Smith caught seven passes for 133 yards and a score, though most of that production came late. Ohio State (6-3) lost its second straight game for the first time since 2011; Oregon improved to 6-3 (4-2 Big Ten, No. 23 in the CFP rankings).
