Air Force Brass Quintet to Play a Veterans Day Concert at the Clinton Presidential Library

Sunday, November 8, 2026 · History · GSM News

The National Archives event calendar lists a special Veterans Day concert at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Wednesday, November 11, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. CST, featuring Airlifter Brass, the brass quintet of the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America. The National Archives notes that all events listed in its calendar are free unless otherwise noted.

Airlifter Brass uses the traditional instrumentation of two trumpets, French horn, trombone and tuba, and adds a percussionist to expand its versatility. Each of its programs is planned for a blend of inspiration and entertainment, and its repertoire includes military marches, jazz standards and patriotic favorites.

Whether performing for a head of state, before a capacity crowd in its 10-state touring area, or for troops at home or abroad, Airlifter Brass reflects the heritage and pride of the nation and the United States Air Force. This stop holds special meaning for tubist SSgt Charles Hilton, who gets the opportunity to represent the Air Force in his native state of Arkansas.

The program is presented by the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Presidential Library in partnership with the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, bringing a presidential library, an Air Force ensemble and a state military history museum together for one Veterans Day evening of music.
