Willamalane Holiday Marketplace Continues Nov. 7 with 100-Plus Craft Vendors Kicking Off the Christmas Season
SPRINGFIELD, Oregon — The Willamalane Holiday Marketplace continued on November 7 in Springfield, Lane County, Oregon, opening the holiday shopping season for the Eugene-Springfield area. The market was held at the Bob Keefer Center, 250 South 32nd Street in Springfield, open noon to 7 p.m. on November 6 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 7, with free admission. The two-day market brought together more than 100 local artisans and food vendors. Organizer Willamalane Park and Recreation District called it one of the area's earliest holiday shopping events of the season. With Thanksgiving and Christmas approaching, local holiday markets are opening one after another and the festive shopping season is officially under way. Springfield sits just east of Eugene, and together the two cities form the core metropolitan area of the Willamette Valley.
