Follow-Up: Families Release Photos and Tributes After Florida Learjet Crash; Captain, 55, and Co-Pilot, 20, Identified by Families

One day after a Learjet 60 crashed into a residential area of Greenacres in Palm Beach County, Florida, the families of the passengers on November 2 released a joint statement through the social media account of Anthony Robinson, brother of passenger Adam Robinson, accompanied by three family photographs: the Robinson family of four posing on the deck of a boat, and photographs of the couple's friends and the children's nanny. All nine people aboard — two crew members and seven passengers — were killed in the November 1 crash.
In the statement, the families remembered each of the seven passengers: Adam Robinson and Helen Sharp were "devoted parents," and their children Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, were "the light of their lives"; the children's nanny, Anita Maria Cetina, "cared for Emma and Charlie with tenderness and devotion, and she was truly part of the family"; and the couple's friends Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr were "full of joy and adventure" who "loved their people fiercely, fully and without hesitation." The families added that their hearts are with the families of the two pilots, asked for privacy as they grieve, and said details of memorial services will be shared once arrangements are made.
The co-pilot had earlier been identified by her family as Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20. According to a 2023 report by CBS 12 in Florida, Filgueiras earned her pilot's license at 17, while a senior at West Boca Raton High School — before she had a driver's license. "People say, 'oh you can't drive,' and I'm like, 'yeah but I can fly,'" she said at the time. In the National Transportation Safety Board's timeline released Monday, it was the flight crew who reported icing, turbulence and an overspeed descent in the flight's final moments.
The captain has also been identified through the families: multiple U.S. outlets report that crew family members confirmed the captain was Jeff Gregory, 55, of Pennsylvania, a veteran pilot who had moved to Florida from the Philadelphia area years ago. One report noted that a prayer could be heard in the final air-traffic control audio. All nine victims have now been named by their families; official identification of the remains, however, is still pending — Palm Beach County Administrator Joe Abruzzo has said it requires DNA matching, has no timeline, and no official list has been released.
The photographs released with the statement also include the couple's friends Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr together, and the children's nanny Anita Maria Cetina. The photograph with this story is the Robinson family of four: Helen Sharp holding Charlie, 2, and Adam Robinson holding Emma, 4, during a boat trip.
