Follow-Up: 'You Can See Everything' Tops North American Box Office in Its Third Weekend With $10.6 Million

A documentary has topped the North American box office in its third weekend of release. According to Sunday (November 1) estimates from Rentrak and the studios, A24's documentary 'You Can See Everything' earned an estimated $10.6 million from 3,243 theaters in the United States and Canada over the October 30 to November 1 weekend, taking first place for the first time. Warner Bros.' DC film 'Clayface' followed closely with an estimated $10.4 million; the gap between the two was just $200,684, and the final ranking will be settled when actual figures are reported on Monday.
Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, 'You Can See Everything' tells the story of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and was reportedly made for about $7 million. Its North American total has reached about $63.9 million, and it expanded to 3,243 theaters in its third weekend.
'Clayface' fell about 57% in its second weekend, reaching about $44.1 million in North America and about $83 million worldwide. GSM previously reported that the film opened at No. 1 with about $24 million.
Laika's stop-motion film 'Wildwood' placed third with about $7.5 million in its second weekend, for a North American total of about $25.9 million. 'Wicker' ($4.1 million), 'Street Fighter' ($3.2 million), 'Resident Evil' ($2.5 million, about $157.4 million domestic and about $400 million worldwide) and 'Other Mommy' ($2.5 million) rounded out the next places.
Halloween fell on a Saturday this year, traditionally a slow weekend for theaters, and total North American ticket sales were estimated at about $55.7 million. Rentrak figures put the year-to-date domestic box office at about $8.46 billion, up roughly 20% from a year earlier; horror films have earned about $1.38 billion domestically this year, about $44.3 million short of the genre's full-year 2025 record. Next weekend, Warner Bros.' 'The Cat in the Hat' opens in about 4,000 theaters and 'Godzilla Minus Zero' arrives in about 2,700 North American theaters.
