Follow-Up: Fielder and Oppenheim on Holmes Documentary 'You Can See Everything' — the Couple Still Hasn't Seen It, per THR

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim discussed their A24 documentary 'You Can See Everything,' which chronicles the last month at home of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes before she reported to federal prison. The film opened in theaters on October 16.
In 2023, Holmes and her partner Billy Evans invited the crew to live at their San Diego home and document the 34 days before Holmes began serving her sentence. Holmes was convicted in 2022 on four counts of defrauding investors and sentenced to more than 11 years.
Oppenheim told THR that before filming began, Evans showed them phone videos of Holmes — including one of her crying on the couch while watching 'Pride and Prejudice,' with Evans saying, "We just watched Pride and Prejudice. This is so good," and asking what the directors thought of such moments. Oppenheim recalled asking the couple what exactly they wanted the camera to show and what their inquiry was.
The directors said that late in production Evans tried to exert control over the process, communication broke down, and the relationship grew strained. Holmes remains incarcerated, and Evans still has not seen the finished film.
