Russia Strikes Ukraine's Energy Facilities Again on November 4: Kyiv and Zhytomyr Power Stations Hit, Ukraine Reports 310 Drones Overnight

KYIV, Ukraine — Russia hit two power stations in Ukraine's Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, Reuters reported on November 4, 2026, citing the Russian Defence Ministry's statement on Telegram that day, continuing near-daily strikes on its neighbour's energy facilities. The strikes also targeted a cargo vessel at sea near Odesa, Reuters reported; Ukraine's emergency service and local officials said the regions of Poltava, Dnipro, Kirovohrad and Rivne, in addition to the capital Kyiv, were also hit. Russian-held Crimea ordered power cuts after an accident outside the region, a Moscow-installed official said, and a drone attack near the southern city of Krasnodar set fire to a logistics hub of Russian retailer Ozon.
Ukraine's Air Force said that overnight from 6 p.m. on November 3, Russian forces attacked with 310 attack drones, with hits recorded at 19 locations and crashed downed drones and debris reported at 15. The overnight attack followed the major November 3 barrage, when President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia had fired 289 drones, 17 ballistic missiles and 59 cruise missiles. Reuters reported that the new strikes came a week before U.S.-brokered peace talks were set to resume, with talks scheduled for November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi.
