Iran's Revolutionary Guards Arrest Military-Industry Technician Accused of Leaking Drone and Missile Secrets to Israel

Tehran — The intelligence organization of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on November 1 that it had arrested a spy who had leaked information about the operations of a drone and missile parts production center in Markazi Province to the enemy. Iranian state television aired the detainee's confession that evening.
According to state television, the man is an Iranian military-industry technician. In his confession he said he had sold intelligence to Israel because he believed 'regime change' would come to Iran: after contacting Israeli handlers through social media platforms, he began supplying classified information about Iranian missile and drone production. State television said the information directly led to targeted strikes on the facilities concerned. Under Iranian law, espionage can be punished by confiscation of all personal property and, at most, the death penalty.
The Guards' intelligence organization did not release the man's name or where he was arrested. Four days before this arrest, Iran announced it had dismantled four groups linked to the United States and Israel, arresting 16 people described as terrorists and three people accused of collecting intelligence.
